Naples

Tour Description

Our tour begins with a visit to Naples Cathedral, dedicated to the Virgin Mary but known by Neapolitans as the Church of San Gennaro, as it houses the blood and relics of the city’s patron saint.

We will continue walking through the historic center to the 15th-century Church of San Lorenzo, where we can experience everyday Neapolitan life and admire the traditional Christmas nativity scenes displayed year-round, which make the holiday season so special. Naturally, it will also be the perfect opportunity to taste some local specialties!

Slowly continuing along the ancient Greek street, the Decumano, you will arrive at the third and final elegant church of the tour: Santa Chiara, renowned for its history and refined architecture.

The tour concludes in Piazza del Plebiscito, where we will have time to admire the exterior of the 17th-century Royal Palace, the Galleria Umberto I, and the Teatro San Carlo. Here, you can also savor Neapolitan delights such as fried pizza, cream coffee, sfogliatella, or rum-soaked babà.
